Online Databases
For legal issues concerning a particular company, go to the Business Insights: Global.
  1. Log into "Search Databases" on the Library’s home page. The username and password are available from the library staff or your instructor.
  2. In the Database Directory, click on the first icon, Library and Information Resources Network L.I.R.N.(Library & Information Resources Network) shown below
  3. Click on “Connect to InfoTrac.”
  4. Scroll down to find Business Insights: Global in the list.
  5. Type in a company name and select it from the search results.
  6. Look for the link to articles on “Legal issues.”
Other InfoTrac databases that may be helpful are General Business File ASAP and Business Index ASAP.
Web Sites
Here are some good sites to search for specific cases: **When doing a Google search for a particular case, use quotation marks, and look for an item in the search results that has either "cornell" or "findlaw" in the address line.
